Position information:
Yard workers work 40 hour weeks Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm weekends off, overtime will be required as the business requires it, typically April through September. Saturdays are rare usually during inventory. Typical duties consist of:
Driving a forklift
Loading trucks
Picking Load
Loading customers trucks
Basic customer service
Yard clean up and organization
Keeping stock in the right locations
Driving Bobtail
Qualifications:
Forklift experience, welding, torch cutting and a good work ethic. general tool knowledge.
Candidates must be committed to their own safety and the safety of those around them. Some large pipes can weigh in excess of 10,000 lbs. and it is critical that they are handled in accordance with all of our established safety protocols.
A class C California Driver's license is required. If candidate possesses the right personality characteristics, we are willing to teach the skills and product knowledge.
Hourly wage $20.00 move to $21.00 after 90 days & Review
