Position Summary-
Technician's perform system installation including wiring, terminating devices, control panels, installation of conduits, and other tasks related to installing. Technician's also perform fire tests and run services calls as needed. We thrive in providing outstanding customer service in all we do.
Roles and Responsibilities-
Installs security/fire alarm, access control, and CCTV components
Ability to make programming changes to security alarm, fire alarm, and access control panels in the field via laptop computer, keypad or local programmer.
Take part in the normal on-call rotation for emergency service and after-hours service
Accurately completes paperwork directly related to the installation of these components
Shows initiative to learn the trades for future advancement
Maintain company issued vehicle, tools, and equipment
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications-
Must be an effective communicator
Must be able to work with a variety of people of all skill levels
Must be able to work in times of high workloads
Must have current drivers license
Required skills-
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Good time management, organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to perform basic math
Basic computer skills
Education-
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands-
Must be able to lift and/or move 25lbs
Must be able to drive, sit, walk, stand, bend, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
