Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling work order requests adhering to priorities.
- Daily maintenance of facility and grounds.
- Completes all unit repairs.
- Taking garbage cans out to the dumpsters and recycling to the curb.
- Cleaning laundry rooms, community bathrooms, and hallways.
- Order and manage inventory.
- Unclog toilets.
- Repair dripping faucets.
- Change light bulbs.
- Complete work orders.
- Painting vacant units.
- Maintenance of sprinkler system.
- Scheduling any unit refurbishing by outside vendors as needed.
- Supervises work of outside contractors to ensure quality of work adheres to project specifications.
- Other maintenance repairs as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance trade fields, of building maintenance or construction.
- Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment in a technical field such as HVAC, building trades or building utilities program preferred.
- Ability to perform skilled and semi-skilled movements, such as working with cordless drills and drill presses, saws, snakes, air compressors, nail guns, cement mixer, mechanical, carpenter tools, plumbing tools, heating and air conditioning and painting tools.
Schedule:
8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
