Construction Project Coordinator

Description We are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator for a construction company, inviting applications from fresh graduates with a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate is ready to learn, possesses superior organizational skills, and demonstrates the potential to navigate the challenges of the construction industry. This is a contract to hire opportunity.Duties and Responsibilities:

Work under the supervision of the Project Manager to execute and monitor construction projects.

Act as a liaison between different teams and department heads, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Participate in the planning, scheduling, and implementation of construction projects and activities.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, monitor contractor progress, and evaluate project performance through data analysis.

Ensure compliance with building codes, safety laws, and other regulations.

Assist with the resolution of project-related issues and identification of risks.

Participate in site inspections and meetings.

Collaborate with the procurement team to keep track of supplies and equipment for construction projects.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

Strong computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or other relevant project management and drafting software.

Excellent communication, team-working, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong data interpretation and analytics skills.

Eager to learn, adapt, and apply engineering principles and techniques in real-world construction projects.
