Ownership and support of all of Frontiers’ Business Applications. IT lead for all business and application related IT projects. Liaison between IT and the Business on all non-security related IT initiatives.

Responsible for the maintenance, updates, planning, and installation of servers, storage and application software on premises and in the cloud.

Provide guidance to team members and business owners, as necessary. Implement new software and systems, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure.

Administration of all Microsoft services including Active Directory, Sharepoint, Exchange, Group Policies on premises and on Microsoft Office 365, including DNS, DHCP, NTP etc.

Support for Azure Active Directory, including identity access management and administering AD topologies in a hybrid environment.

Ownership and Administration of VMware.

Administration and monitoring of all of Frontiers’ NAS storage devices and cloud storage.

Support of Frontiers’ MS365 and AWS environment.

Ensure the availability and performance of critical systems and infrastructure, proactively monitoring and resolving issues.

Develop and maintain proper processes, procedures, and system documentation according to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Manage Frontiers’ Software Licenses and Vendor relationships as well as external Service Providers.

Negotiate contracts with external vendors delivering technology systems and support to hold them accountable for completing project milestones.

Support AV for large company meetings.

Act as on premises escalation point of third party user support provider and provide direct user support as required.

What we are looking for:

BS/BA in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field; with a minimum of 7 years' experience in system administration.

Previous experience working in a regulated environment, with awareness of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, Sarbanes-Oxley) and related control frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.) relevant to IT.

Strong understanding of the Biotech and Pharma industry, with the ability to strategically connect business drivers to IT.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Excellent project management skills and a strong ability to prioritize.

Previous experience with Enterprise PaaS and SaaS solutions, Cloud Storage Platforms, VMware virtualization, Cloud Collaboration Platforms (e.g., SharePoint, MS365, Azure administration), email security (e.g., Microsoft Defender), and Single Sign-On.

Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and meticulous attention to detail.

At Frontier we strive to build a diverse and equitable workplace. The salary range for this role is $130,000 – $175,000. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including candidates' qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
