Job Title: Assembly TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves functioning as an assembler in a complex box build operation, ensuring adherence to established standards, methods, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics assembly, cable building, and working with both low and high voltage wiring.Responsibilities
Function as an assembler in a complex box build operation.
Follow assembly processes to ensure overall quality and cost reduction.
Support area manager in establishing standards, methods, and processes.
Make suggestions for product quality and cost improvements.
Disassemble vehicles, remove drive train and ancillary components.
Pressure wash chassis and prep for welding.
Weld/plug holes on chassis, and perform finish work.
Assemble components (EV powertrain) onto vehicles.
Wire in components, including low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) wiring.
Install plumbing for battery AC, CAB AC, and coolant systems.
Support bring-up tasks on EV powertrain.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in complex electronics assembly testing.
1+ years of experience in building cables/harnesses.
1+ years of experience with sealed and ruggedized assemblies.
Familiarity with high power assembly environments.
Experience with standard office computer programs for recording assembly activities.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Work EnvironmentYou will work in a small shop environment with 8-10 employees.
