Your ease with clients will help you navigate the relationship between technical and business in this role.If you don’t mind a challenge that brings out the Engineer in you this team works on plenty of complex projects. Get ready to crack your knuckles and jump right in!As a Lead Controls Engineer part of the team dynamic is supporting your more junior teammates as they also learn and grow in their careers. If you have 7+ years architecting controls systems from start to finish, we want to hear from you.To be right for this opportunity you’ll have well rounded expertise across the following areas :selecting the components to be useddetailing schematic diagramssystem documentationprogramming controllers (PLC, DCS, RTU)programming the process visualization (HMI / SCADA)developing databases for archiving / displaying historical system dataimplementing / commissioning the control systemYour Education & Tech ExperienceEducationBachelor of Science degree in Electrical / Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science is required.Tech Experience7+ years with PLC hardware / software platforms eg. Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Modicon7+ years with HMI / SCADA hardware / software platforms eg. Iconics Genesis64, Wonderware System Platform, GE Cimplicity, GE iFIX, Rockwell Automation, Siemens.Experience in industries such as Power Gen & Distribution, Food and Beverage, Oil & Gas and Water.7+ years design of electrical schematics, including power distribution under 480VAC, control panels and associated NEC references7+ years programming experience.Ability to travel up to 25% especially if you live outside of Modesto or Stockton CA.Taking the next step in your career or just making a lateral change for better work / life balance is an important decision.
