Simpson's Cafe is a small business that operates as a cafeteria within Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Stockton, CA. Our continuous goal is to maintain efficiency in the cafeteria facility so that we can effectively and consistently accommodate the company's needs.
Job Description
We're looking for dynamic cooks with a passion for cooking who works well in a team environment. Our facility is responsible for creating delicious dishes such as deli sandwiches, burgers, and ramen noodles. We also provide unique daily specials of the chef's choice for each week and are also responsible for providing catering services. When it's time to have our heads in the game during rush hours, and in general, we must work together with patience, respect, and open-mindedness to create efficient workflows within the facility. We seek individuals with previous experiences in the food prep industry who are passionate about food and customer service and can multi-task effectively. We also encourage food ideas to expand our menu and pickings for the daily specials. We look forward to hearing from you and potentially joining our team.
Responsibilities:
Conform to standard kitchen safety protocols.
Have knowledge of cooking techniques.
Prepare meals and side dishes according to customer’s needs and preferences (Including Catering Services).
Prepare food in a timely manner.
Be able to communicate with customers and with kitchen staff members.
