Maintenance-Handyman needed
- Assists with general maintenance in the facility such as changing light bulbs, wiring and/or piping.Test the various pieces of equipment to help evaluate repairs for effectiveness. Perform minor battery cable repairs. Assists with the maintenance of the claw line rails, dock doors and door screens. Completes minor repairs to the restrooms. Works in operations as a lift operator for four hours a day, or as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Able to operate a forklift
- Makes unscheduled repairs on packaging equipment as needed in the special pack department
- Assists with Preventative Maintenance on equipment and follows a maintenance schedule.
- More responsibilities may be assigned upon hire.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Able to multitask, prioritize and properly communicate and work well with others.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to; effectively communicate with others and work in a team environment
- Candidates must be able to work overtime and/or additional days when needed.
- Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Candidates must be detail oriented.
- 1 year warehouse experience and maintenance is a plus.
- We are an E-verify/Background/DT company.
- Candidates must be able to pass all of the requirements
