Utilizing cryptographic keys and functions, we provide applications and services that are leveraged across many of the most business-critical functions within Apple. You will collaborate with product management and other engineering teams to define features, and work closely with other members of Crypto Services to design, implement and deliver these as comprehensive, high volume, low latency, fault-tolerant and highly available security solutions. 3 years object oriented design & software development experience (Java, c, etc.)
3 years experience with scripting languages (python, bash, etc.)
3 years modern CI/CD tooling and build systems experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent or foreign equivalent degree.
Key QualificationsPreferred Qualifications
Solid understanding and application of computer science fundamentals
Experience building, orchestrating, and deploying highly scalable REST based APIs
Knowledge of PKI fundamentals and applied cryptography
Proficiency with SQL and/or NoSQL database technology
Understanding of performance testing concepts and tools
Knowledge of applied security concepts (authentication, authorization, OWASP Top 10 Risks, etc.)

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
