French Canadian Customer Service Representative

Description We are on the lookout for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Torrance, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing first-level support to our consumers and retailers. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for maintaining strong, professional relationships with all our customers and demonstrating technical expertise in our products.Responsibilities: Offer first-level support to our customers and retailers, ensuring their inquiries are resolved efficiently. Uphold our company's values in all forms of communication, portraying a strong brand image. Build and maintain professional relationships with our customers, demonstrating empathy at all times. Contribute to the growth of our brand by recommending and selling products/services that meet the consumer’s needs and interests. Document customer information and inquiry details accurately into our databases. Use technical knowledge of our products to resolve any technical issues effectively. Handle customer complaints professionally, resolving issues calmly and courteously. Attend relevant product and skill training sessions, ensuring successful completion of related assessment tests. Provide relevant feedback or observed trends to the leadership team. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Demonstrate proficiency in 'Call Center Customer Service', 'Customer Service', and 'Basic Troubleshooting'. Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the manufacturing industry Proficiency in utilizing Customer Service Management systems Knowledge in basic troubleshooting to assist customers with product issues Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively address customer needs Strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints or inquiries Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or certifications in relevant field are a plus Familiarity with the manufacturing industry and its processes would be advantageous Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, or holidays if required Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word Bilingual in French Canadian is required Proven track record of maintaining professionalism and patience in high-stress situations.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
