Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in the automotive industry located in Torrance, California for a Senior Project Manager IT. In this role, you will be in charge of delivering digital transformation projects that will impact the whole enterprise. You will be expected to liaise with a diverse set of stakeholders, manage project plans, coordinate schedules, and ensure the quality, cost, and delivery aspects of the project.Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of enterprise-wide digital transformation projects Manage and coordinate schedules with multiple stakeholders Oversee the quality, cost, and delivery aspects of each project Facilitate sessions to gather, refine, and validate complex business requirements Collaborate with Product Owners and multiple product teams to define product goals, backlogs, and roadmaps Provide support to teams to reflect, learn, and improve on their Agile practice Identify and manage interactive dependencies within a complex systems environment Maintain team data and collateral, keeping it relevant to changing business needs Provide mentoring support to Product Owners and team members to refine their understanding of Agile practices Manage project forecasts and budget variance, ensuring the project is on track Develop presentation and communication material relevant to a variety of stakeholders Work with teams to identify and mitigate risks to the program. Requirements Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in documentation and report writing Understanding of operations within the automotive industry Strong compliance and regulatory knowledge Experience in materials handling and procurement processes Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial forecasting Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement Ability to deliver clear and engaging presentations Proficiency in using 'About Time' software or similar project management tools Understanding of benefit functions within a project context Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team Excellent negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders Proven track record in driving project progress and meeting milestones Familiarity with digital technologies and their applications in the automotive industry Experience in data analysis for decision-making and strategy development Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies Ability to effectively manage and engage stakeholders at all levels Experience in systems integration within the IT context Proficiency in Agile project management Ability to develop clear and concise project specifications Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to align project objectives with business goals Experience in project oversight, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
