DescriptionSenior Pre Service Specialist - 100% We welcome residents in our footprint states, AK, CA, OR, WA, TX, or MT.Under the direction of the Pre-Service Supervisor/Manager/Director, the Senior Pre Service Specialist has a clear understanding and knowledge of all functions performed by Pre-Service. They are responsible for, but not limited to, scheduling, Pre-Registration, estimates and collections, authorization verification and notice of admission enterprise wide - set the tone for patient experience when receiving care at PSJH. Functions may also include claim edits, DNB's or Stop Bills, Maintaining the integrity of guarantor record as well as the coverage record. In addition, Senior Pre-Service Specialist acts as a role model and resource for their peers in all aspects of the Pre-Service and patient experience functions. They serve as a functional expert in the department, identifying trends and areas to be reviewed for process improvement.The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes the Providence Mission and Values. H.S. Diploma or GED

6 years Healthcare experience within Patient Access or Business office setting

6 years Epic or Similar Scheduling/Registration/Authorization System

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of the Revenue Cycle Certification attained upon 6 months of hire.
