As a Senior Product Manager for the Firewall Data Platform you will be responsible for developing products that will collect and manage massive amounts of data that will support network administrators. You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle, product strategy, conception, definition, development, release and post-release activities. You will also work closely with product managers across our broader team.
To be successful in this position you possess a combination of strong business acumen, leadership skills, and technical aptitude as well as to have a real passion for driving Cloud services and security outcomes while bridging customer business requirements. Be comfortable with frequent interaction with customers, prospects and industry analysts presenting our solution and explaining our products’ value while understanding and articulating their requirements. A successful track record of working closely with the Engineering and clear communication of business goals in technical terms.
Your Impact
Translate customer business needs into product strategy and technology requirements as part of market and product requirements
Develop, lead, and communicate product roadmap to customers, prospects and all internal key team members
Drive engineering team and deliver high-quality products
Work with the product marketing team and to develop compelling sales tools and marketing content to support sales and field marketing teams
Work with new product introduction, marketing, professional services, and support to ensure your products are supported by these teams
Drive product pricing and go-to-market decisions
5+ years of product management experience
3+ years of experience with data platforms, monitoring, analytics, machine learning, and/or data visualization
Deep understanding of data platform market, trends, and competitive landscape
Experience as a product manager for cloud products
Provide ability to set a vision, define product strategy, and drive alignment across multiple teams
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong desire to take ownership of the full product lifecycle
Strong teammate who is able to lead and support to cross-functional teams
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with firewalls, networking, and/or security products is a plus but not required
BS in a technical field (e.g. EE. CS); MBA desirable
