Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Vacaville, California. As an integral part of our team, you will be tasked with managing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also oversee customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.Responsibilities: Handle the full cycle of accounts for 20 water systems Efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain and update customer credit records accurately Manage the process of invoices, including stamping, reviewing, and coding in line with work orders Utilize cloud-based software for Accounts Payable (AP) Handle weekly check runs and ensure all processes are carried out on time Use Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes, employing pre-prepared sheets Manage vendor invoices and maintain an effective vendor management system Handle expense reporting and check runs Maintain an organized filing system for packing slips and match them with invoices Respect and adhere to established processes and procedures, and optimize individual workflow within those boundaries. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures Ability to enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Experience in vendor management, ensuring smooth and productive relationships Expertise in expense reporting, ensuring accurate recording of company expenditures Experience in conducting check runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas Familiarity with coding invoices, ensuring accurate allocation of expenses Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
