Description We're in search of a thorough Accounts Receivable Clerk to become part of our Manufacturing team in Valencia/Santa Clarita area of California. The role primarily involves handling different areas of accounts receivable, cash posting, and collections, providing a thrilling chance to improve our team's precision and productivity.Key Duties: Supervise the accounts receivable subledger, which includes daily cash receipts, invoices, credit memos, and other adjustments. Guarantee the precise and swift distribution of daily customer invoices. In collaboration with the Customer Service and Sales teams, research and reconcile older items and unidentified deductions. Provide weekly reports on Accounts Receivable, comprising Aging Summary by Customer and Over 60 Analysis. Preserve precise Accounts Receivable files in line with SOX and External Audit regulations. Perform Quarterly Reserve Analysis for the Accounts Receivable Allowance. Keep track of and reconcile monthly capital expenditures and liaise with project managers regarding the status of completion. Oversee the fixed asset ledger, which involves monthly depreciation calculations and reconciliation to the General Ledger. Get ready various journal entries and relevant reconciliations associated with the monthly close, such as Cash and Prepaid Contracts. Extend support for various general accounting tasks as required.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience working within the Aerospace industry Knowledgeable about Manufacturing processes Familiarity with General Ledger functions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solid organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred Prior experience in a similar role is a plus!
