Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Benefits and Payroll Administrator in the manufacturing industry, located in Valencia, California. This role is a key addition to our team, with a primary focus on managing payroll and employee benefits with precision and efficiency.Responsibilities: Accurately processing employee salaries and benefits in a timely manner Entering and maintaining data within the payroll system Updating payroll records, such as exemptions, job classifications, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles Assisting with open enrollment activities Administering benefits tasks such as enrollments, changes, and terminations accurately and promptly Responding to employee inquiries about payroll and benefits in a detail oriented and timely manner Working in coordination with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data Contributing to team goals by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Benefits and Payroll Administrator or in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry. Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for payroll and benefits administration. Familiarity with Ceridian payroll system is highly valued. Experience with Cisco Webex Meetings for conducting virtual meetings and presentations. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems for managing and analyzing customer interactions and data. Strong auditing skills to ensure the accuracy of payroll and benefits data. Understanding of benefit functions including plan options, policy features, enrollment and other related matters. Proven experience in claim administration, resolving any issues related to benefits and payroll. Experience in Cobra Administration to handle health insurance issues after job loss. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees and address their payroll and benefits related queries. Familiarity with Paylocity payroll system would be advantageous. Solid understanding of Benefits Administration, including health and retirement plans, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
