Job Description:
Jeanette Airen Performing Arts Studio is seeking a passionate and skilled Guitar/Piano Teacher to join our team! This position involves teaching group and/or private lessons to students of various ages and skill levels, fostering a positive, encouraging, and creative learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in either guitar or piano (or both), a love for teaching, and experience working with children, teens, and adults.
Responsibilities:
Teach beginner to advanced guitar and/or piano lessons
Create engaging, personalized lesson plans to suit each student’s needs and goals
Encourage students’ growth by providing constructive feedback and positive reinforcement
Prepare students for performances, including studio showcases
Communicate with parents and students to track progress
Maintain a clean, organized teaching space and help uphold a welcoming studio environment
Qualifications:
Proficiency in guitar and/or piano with the ability to teach beginner through advanced levels
Teaching experience in music education, especially with children and teens
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about helping students achieve their musical goals
Availability to teach on a consistent weekly schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in music or music education (or equivalent experience)
Ability to teach additional instruments or skills is a plus
