JOB TITLE: SENIOR / LEAD ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTER

SALARY RANGE: $25 - $35 per hour BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Styline Door and Window Systems is seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Drafter to join our team. As the Lead Drafter, you will play a crucial role in managing our drafting department, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our drafting processes, and contributing to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 2-3 drafters, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day tasks.
- Perform drafting tasks for various projects, including creating shop drawings and production files.
- Review and distribute all incoming and outgoing new and redline orders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of all systems, parts, components, and how they come together in our products.
- Utilize AutoCAD and our proprietary software PrefSuite for drafting and design work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with SmartSheets or similar spreadsheet software.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in drafting and AutoCAD software.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of construction and manufacturing processes is a plus.
