Patient Care - Provides patient care within scope of practice. Patient needs met promptly. Changes in patient status reported promptly.
Documentation - Documents activities in an accurate and timely manner to ensure quality patient care.
Daily Tasks - Performs daily tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the unit and maintain patient comfort.
Supply and equipment maintenance - Supports the operation of the unit by maintaining supplies and equipment necessary for patient care. Monitors stock levels, restocks as necessary, and removes unsafe or damaged equipment from use.
Quality Improvement - Participates in unit quality improvement activities.
Required:
High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Six (6) months of experience performing Nursing/Patient Care Assistant duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility, OR current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
