We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Driver to join our agricultural team in Camarillo, CA. This position requires:
- Strong tractor driving experience (field + road)
- Class A license with (Tanker endorsements, Hazmat preferred)
- Experience mixing and loading pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers.
Primary Responsibilities:
The primary duties of Spray Driver are to transport hazardous and nonhazardous materials and equipment to various job sites in support of field application operations. This includes:
- Driving a diesel nurse truck, towing a trailer with a tractor on public roadways
- Operating the tractor in the field to apply crop protection products such as herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers
- Drivers are required to maintain a valid commercial license in good standing with the DMV and DOT departments.
- Transporting commercial motor vehicles and trailers of more than 10,000 lbs part of the daily activities
- The driver's typical work schedule is Monday through Saturday and at times Sundays; depending on weather conditions or business demands.
Requirements & Qualification:
- Experience driving tractors-trailers and manual transmission vehicles
- CDL Class A license (Tanker endorsement required; Hazmat preferred)
- Must be able to obtain a forklift operator’s license
- Comfortable working outdoors and in agricultural environment
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills and ability to complete los and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in Agricultural or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standard
- Maintains confidentiality and communicates professionally
- Able to adapt to changing schedules, priorities or weather delays
- Perform spray applications in the field on occasional basis

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions are not available.
