Mixer/Loader in Agricultural (Camarillo, CA)
Pay: ($19.00-$26.23) per hour D.O.E
Schedule: Monday – Saturday (40-60 hours/week)
Employment Type: Full Time
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking detailed oriented, experienced Mixer/Loader to join our agricultural team in Camarillo, CA. This position requires:
- Prior tractor experience (preferred)
- Experience mixing and loading pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers
- Class C license required (QAC/QAL preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
Primary Responsibilities:
The primary duties of a Mixer/Loader are to the mixing and loading of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers for spray applications in the field. This includes:
- Assists spray applicators in the field to assure accuracy, safety, and efficiency
- Makes chemical injections in the field through various methods such as drip or sprinkler irrigations
- Follows all safety requirements and regulations for the application of pesticides.
Requirements & Qualification:
- Must be able to obtain a forklift operator’s license
- Ability to read, write and follow directions in English or Spanish
- Ability to use measuring equipment and read work orders
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules or weather
- Comfortable working in outdoors agricultural environments
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and communication
- Consistently is at work and punctual
- Basic math skills and ability to complete logs/documentations
- Prior experience in a similar role (preferred)
