Del Ciervo Apartments seeks an Onsite Maintenance Technician for a 93-unit Oxnard Apartment Community. This is a full-time position with the Maintenance Technician required to live onsite. Maintenance Technician will be on call for after-hours emergencies.
Under direction of the Onsite Manager, the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled maintenance and repair work on Residential rental properties. Responsibilities and Duties may include but are not limited to:
Oversees Vendors
Opens Laundry Room at 9:00 a.m. Monday through Wednesday
Close Laundry Room at 9:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday
Install new bathroom cabinets as needed
Miscellaneous plumbing including faucets, stems, seals, garbage disposals
Replace fans, shower fixtures, mirrors, as needed for new tenants
Miscellaneous maintenance repairs
Change bathroom and kitchen light fixtures and plugs as needed
Replace vent covers in vacant apartments
Replace outlet covers
Repair or replace worn screens on windows, patio/balcony sliding door as needed
Replace locks on sliding screen door/glass sliding door
Change locks between new tenants
Power wash sidewalks, dumpster areas, entryways as needed
Clean, repair or replace outside globes and lights as needed
Replace carport lights as needed
Clean, paint picnic tables and BBQ area
Clean trash around dumpster area
Report vehicles parked by dumpsters
Keep weeds and trash out of alley
Paint graffiti on walls as needed
Report illegal dumping
Wash down pool furniture and pool area once a week
Check chemicals in spa daily
Paint red curves, yellow posts, dumpster area as needed
Wash carport walls as needed
Clean, paint replace glass on Fire Extinguishers
Replace and paint water heater doors as needed
Remove weeds by front office sidewalks as needed
Replace worn exterior signs as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Maintenance Technician required to live onsite
Valid Class C California driver’s license and current Insurance
Minimum 3-Years Construction/Handyman experience required
Property Management experience preferred but not required
Must be team-oriented and self-motivated
Strong written/oral communication skills
Must have a consistent work history and verifiable references
PAY:
Onsite apartment with discount. Hourly pay DOE
