Our client is looking for an On-site Supervisor to act as a lead person in the delivery of human resource services with specific responsibility for providing information to associate employees regarding policies and regulations; addressing a variety of issues and/or providing general support; overseeing the maintenance of records, files and databases of personnel actions, and evaluations; and assisting the Human Resources Department in ensuring that personnel functions conform to all applicable regulatory requirements. The On-site Supervisor is responsible for performing in-depth human resources duties under minimal supervision and the nominal supervision of subordinate personnel. Will work closely with the Client to provide high level of customer service and ensure compliance with all company’s policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Build and maintain strategic partnership through an extensive and detailed understanding of the business, strategic direction, processes, and policies
Maintain close contact with the key principles to ensure highest level of satisfaction possible
Build and maintain a talent pipeline that aligns with the needs and output requirement
Consistent execution of recruiting plan to ensure the right quantity and quality of talent
Screen and select candidates according to specific job profiles and workforce forecasts
Comply with all operational standards and employment laws and regulations
Build strong relationships through in person visits, which foster a consultative relationship and increased business
Have the ability and knowledge to make the best match for the business and the talent
Consistently exceed company and talent expectations, and stay ahead of the staffing industry by offering innovative, creative, and effective employment solutions
Conduct successful orientations and quality checks with new hires
Manage all aspects of field employee employment at the site including coaching, counseling, and termination while maintaining related support functions
Find creative, proactive solutions to staffing and performance challenges
Ensure a positive candidate/ field employee experience
Foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation and a culture of workplace safety
Conduct site evaluations and safety walks
Participate in client safety meetings and trainings
Employee onboarding and orientations
Processes weekly payroll
Demonstrate company's core values, operating principles and service differentiators through daily activity
Maintain client relationship through active communication.
Maintains constant communication with Regional Manager.
Runs reports for client based on their needs.
Reports issues such as injuries, harassment, etc. to management immediately.
Qualifications:
Two to three years of business experience with a minimum of 2 in either HR, recruiting, or staffing.
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload.
Unsurpassed level of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex situations in an effective manner.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
Ability to present business reviews and workforce strategies.
Demonstrate the ability to identify needs and to deliver expectations.
Miscellaneous:
Able to read/write in English and communicate in Spanish.
Able to work flexible hours and overtime as required by workload.
Able to function in a team environment where continuous improvement is expected through communication and cooperation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
Occasional repetitive movement
Ability to perform physical aspects of those in a standard office environment.
