Sottile Baltaxe, a plaintiff's civil litigation and trial firm seeks a motivated, independent, and experienced litigation attorney for our Agoura Hills office. We are looking for an associate to join our team to assist with our firm’s caseload. We represent Plaintiffs in employment (both individual and class), personal injury, nuisance, and toxic mold cases. The position involves direct extensive client contact; preparing and opposing motions; taking and defending depositions; making regular court appearances; and assisting with trial preparation. We try a lot of cases, so there is also an opportunity to participate in trial and Arbitrations. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate looking for independent work and the opportunity to take initiative and grow their skills.
REQUIRED Skills and Experience:
1 to 5 years' litigation experience, preferably with experience as an employment attorney.
Experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions.
Excellent written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to prioritize litigation workload and manage time.
JD and California Bar License required.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
