We are a busy personal injury law firm in need of a Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a full time, in office position. We offer paid vacation/sick time, health/dental/vision, and 401k. We are looking for a reliable and organized person. This is an in office position (no remote).
Responsibilities include:
1. Issuing checks, payment of invoices/bills, distribution of settlements, etc.
2. Familiarity with managing the general and client trust accounts for law firms
3. Ensuring information is correctly inputted into Quickbooks & run various reports/reporting
4. Keeping track of client costs
5. Reconcile credit card statements
6. Making Deposits
7. Working alongside our CPA to provide any documents, reports, info, etc.
8. Managing/assisting the owner on his personal properties/businesses, Insurances and banking
Qualifications include:
Must have a strong attention to detail, be organized, good time management and be willing to help when needed
Experience with Quickbooks a must
Prefer experience working in a law firm but not required
Ability to multitask, self-manage and work independently
