Join Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue as a Foster and Help Save Lives!
We are in URGENT need of an experienced, patient and loving Foster Home for Blankets & Jack Jack. A bonded brother and sister who appear to have come from a backyard breeder who didn't socialize them at all. They're afraid of loud sounds and fast movements. They needs someone patient to let them come out of their shell in their own time while showing them that people can be kind, caring, and even fun.
What We Provide:
All necessary supplies: bed, food, treats, toys, and vet care.
Support and guidance throughout the fostering process.
What We Need From You:
- You must be 21+ (or have parental approval if under 21).
- Be able to foster until the dog is adopted, or at least 4 weeks.
- To have reliable transportation to bring your foster dog to our adoption event in West Hollywood every other Saturday OR at least once a month (THIS IS A REQUIREMENT) and to vet appointments as needed.
- To be comfortable with large breeds (50-90 pounds). Please do not apply if you can only foster small dogs.
- No children, no cats, and no other dogs in your home.
- Ability to start fostering immediately.
- Approval from all landlords, managers, spouses, etc. before applying.
- Include your phone number and email in your application (WE WILL NOT RESPOND WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION).
Ace of Hearts, a Non-Profit Dog Rescue based in Los Angeles, is dedicated to saving dogs from high-kill shelters and giving them a new chance at life. We urgently need experienced fosters who are comfortable with large dogs to provide temporary homes for our rescues while we work on finding them their forever families.
As a foster, you'll play a crucial role in helping these dogs feel secure, comfortable, and loved during their transition from shelter life. Whether they're shy and traumatized or confident and affectionate, your care will make a world of difference. The joy of seeing a fearful dog gain trust or receiving unconditional love from a confident dog is incredibly rewarding.
