Core duties and responsibilities (Job can be remote) 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE PLEASE
Application processing: Assist in the initial stages of loan applications, which includes reviewing them for completeness and accuracy.
Document management: Collect, organize, and verify all necessary documents from borrowers, such as financial statements, pay stubs, and identification. This also includes maintaining organized loan and credit files.
Client communication: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, answering questions, and providing updates on the status of their loan application. They may also gather missing information or schedule appointments.
Third-party coordination: Communicate with other parties involved in the loan process, such as real estate agents, appraisers, and title companies.
Underwriting and closing support
Help prepare loan files for underwriting review, review underwriting conditions, and assist with the closing process by ensuring all required documents are in order.
Administrative tasks:
Perform various administrative duties to support the loan officer and department, which can include data entry, preparing cost estimates, and managing correspondence.
Problem-solving: Troubleshoot issues that arise during the loan process and work to find solutions to keep the process moving forward.
Compliance and accuracy: Ensure that all work complies with current lending policies, procedures, and regulations
