Warehouse Associate / Driver (Building Materials)

With limited guidance in a fast-paced environment, responsible for various warehouse tasks. Including but not limited to; High level organizational skills, receiving, handling and loading of materials preparing for production and/ or delivery through completion of sales orders. Consistently maintaining a clean and organized warehouse/ work environment. Accurately following company procedures for handling of merchandise/ supplies.
Responsibilities:
Exhibit detailed knowledge of all warehouse roles and become qualified in all aspects of warehouse operations.
Safely operate forklift and pallet jacks to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
Thoroughly inspect product upon receipt and make note immediately with driver of any damaged cartons, merchandise or shipping discrepancies
Receive product accurately and complete shipment paperwork accurately
Remove/ prepare staged materials and from stock preparing it for shipment/ delivery
Stock product in designated location and pull correct quantities/product type to fulfill customer orders and meet productivity and accuracy goals.
Manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations or transporting material
Maintains condition of warehouse by keeping warehouse clean and organized
Develop and maintain stock of warehouse supplies needed to efficiently receive, store and distribute merchandise/ product
Uphold quality service by following company standard
Works safely and within company expectations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
High School Diploma
1-2 years warehouse / logistics experience
Works independently with little supervision but communicates regularly with Supervisor
Ability to interact with field customers/ contractors independently
Read and write English
Ability to lift 100+lbs
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented work experience / warehouse exposure
Materials handling/ delivery experience a plus
Must have valid /clean DMV
Materials handling/ delivery experience a plus
Must be able to show valid documentation to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Salary: $20.00 to $24.00 /hour+ (Position could pay more for the right candidate)
