Description Our respected client in North County, San Diego, is actively seeking a Collections Specialist. If you enjoy a fast-paced work environment and work well in teams, we would like to hear from you. The successful candidate will be tasked with monitoring the status of outstanding debt, locate and contact borrowers to inquire of their payment status, and effectively manage recovery.Responsibilities:
Monitor accounts on a daily basis.
Identify outstanding account receivables.
Investigate historical data for debts and bills.
Take actions in order to encourage timely payments.
Respond to billing questions and create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections attempts.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role.
Comfortable working with targets and tight deadlines.
Knowledge of billing procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
Good understanding of collections regulations.
