Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk on a long-term contract / temporary to hire basis to become an integral part of a rapidly growing team at a company in the Real Estate - Sales & Lease industry. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. You will have the opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic department. Located in Walnut Creek, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract to hire position.Major responsibilities
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
Provide support during internal and external audits
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Carry out a full-cycle A/P
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Purchase Orders experience preferred
Experience with data entry
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Foundational knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint
Deep understanding of Yardi
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
