Description California civil litigation firm specializing in fraud litigation seeks a motivated and skilled associate attorney to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
Conduct all aspects of litigation for assigned cases, including pre-trial motions, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and appellate work.
Draft and argue legal motions and briefs.
Perform legal research and analysis, identifying relevant case law and statutes.
Collaborate effectively with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients.
Manage a diverse caseload, meeting deadlines and adhering to ethical standards.
Requirements
Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in relevant jurisdiction.
5+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with trial experience.
Strong analytical and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in legal research databases and case management software.
