Description We are seeking a meticulous Data Analyst to join our team in Walnut Creek, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing data validity from various sources, leveraging their strong skills in analytics, database management, and Microsoft Excel. This role is a contract role that offers the opportunity for long-term employment. Responsibilities: Analyze and validate data from multiple systems, including Oracle PeopleSoft Utilize Microsoft Excel to import and analyze large datasets Assist in the development and completion of Standard Operation Procedures, transitioning them from Excel to Word or Visio Disseminate data findings to appropriate teams Conduct audit activities to ensure data accuracy Manage and monitor accounts payable activities Ensure the validity of data updates to PeopleSoft Maintain a strong line of communication with internal teams. Requirements Proficiency with database systems and management Strong understanding of analytics methodologies and techniques Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) processes Prior exposure to audit activities and compliance Proficient in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft software Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze data Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task efficiently Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
