Job Description:We are seeking a highly qualified Health & Safety Professional to support our growth in our industry X capabilities - with specialized expertise in robotics, industrial operations, and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of safety protocols, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance, specifically tailored to these industrial and manufacturing environments globally.As the Workplace Health & Safety Industry X (IX) Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful integration of health and safety practices within the growing Industry X space.
Develop and implement the global comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures and ensure they meet the needs of the specific IX environments (robotics, industrial operations, manufacturing, etc)
Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses related to the introduction, operation, and maintenance of these facilities
Develop and implement safety programs to address the identified risks
Develop briefings and drive regular IX steering committee meetings and associated governance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess safety implications of growing capabilities in IX ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Design and deliver training programs for employees and stakeholders on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and best practices for working in IX
Evaluate and optimize safety controls, including machine guarding, interlocks, emergency stops, and safety systems, to mitigate risks associated with these environments
Perform and oversee regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards, develop corrective action plans, and track implementation to ensure a safe working environment
Stay updated with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to health and safety in robotics, industrial operations, and manufacturing
Maintain status reports, tools and dashboards as required
Engage with global team on Incident management procedures, investigations
Manage special projects for continual improvement
Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years Facility Safety Management experience
Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of OHS regulations, standards, and best practices in various industries and countries
Facility Safety management
Health & Safety practical experience
Health & Safety certifications
Knowledge and certifications in Health & Safety (e.g. CSP, CIH, DOLE, CRSP, CSHM, IOSH Level 3, CHMM, NEBOSH IGC, etc.)
Knowledge and experience in ISO methodology (ISO:45001, ISO:14001)
Knowledge and Experience with industrial/manufacturing operations
Field experience in a variety of industries (manufacturing, construction, energy, automation, chemical, etc.)
Knowledge of cross border health and safety legal requirements of industrial facilities.
Risk management work experience
Incident investigation and corrective action planning
Training and development experience
Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing safety training programs and learning management
Knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of specialized safety programs such as energy isolation, confined spaces, fall protection, machine guarding, respiratory protection, PPE management, etc.
Knowledge and Experience in developing and cultivating a strong safety culture through influence.
Bachelor’s Degree in occupational health & safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, or related field
Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
