Join Union Bank, where being inspired is expected and creating results is rewarded.We're seeking a Private Mortgage Banker who will be responsible for originating conventional residential real estate loans and growing the customer base for the private bank. To do so, you will need to contact potential or existing customers to develop new and existing business.Responsibilities:Solicit residential first mortgages through contacts with realtors, builders, and developers, focused on affluent borrowers.

Interview applicants discover information about their needs, desires, and earnings to decide whether the loan will be an acceptable risk.

Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with mortgagors.

Stay on top of trends and developments in the local real estate market, as well as the changing rules and regulations pertaining to private insured mortgages.

Deepen customers' relationships with the bank, by working with Private Bankers, Private Wealth Advisors and Senior Financial Advisors.

Work with Bank partners to provide full service and present all products to current and potential customers.

Provide coaching to Private Bankers and work together on strategic plans to acquire new customers.

Qualifications3 years' experience in residential real estate

Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills

Ability to introduce Private Bank team members to self-sourced clients and assist in growing relationships.

Understanding of advanced tax analysis and Bank guidelines and how to apply them in various situations.

Ability to think creatively and find unique solutions that may apply to high net-worth clients.

High school diploma or G.E.D.
