Description Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bilingual Spanish Operations Manager to join our sheet metal manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a minimum of 15 years of experience in the industry, with at least 10 of those in management. While not mandatory, Lean or Six Sigma Certification is highly desired.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
Liaise between different departments to ensure smooth and profitable business operations.
Spearhead the implementation of operational policies and procedural improvements.
Lead, motivate, and develop a dynamic and competent team of employees
Conduct performance reviews and make necessary decisions for workforce management, hiring, and termination.
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations, and maintain a safe, quality-focused work environment.
Create and monitor budgets, making necessary adjustments based on financial analysis.
Collaborate with other company executives and stakeholders.
Regularly review and report progress towards operational goals to senior management.
Utilize your bilingual communication skills to facilitate effective cross-cultural communication within the organization.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing, with at least 10 years in a management position.
Lean or Six Sigma Certification, while not mandatory, is strongly preferred.
Fluent in both English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with operational management.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of industry safety and warehouse procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with industry-relevant software.
