Description We are in search of an Accountant to join our team based in Woodland Hills, California. In this role, you will be contributing to a range of accounting activities including tax preparation, auditing, and maintaining client financial records. This job is an integral part of our team, ensuring that our financial operations run accurately and effectively. Responsibilities: Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of work papers and supporting documents for individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns. Perform audits, reviews, and compilations of client financial statements. Maintain a strong accounting background and continuously update your knowledge in the field. Manage and process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. Keep accurate records of customer credit information. Proactively monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed. Utilize various software such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to manage and analyze financial data. Prepare and maintain journal entries as part of routine accounting tasks. Use your knowledge and skills in Federal Income Tax, Tax - Corporate, Tax - Individual, Tax - Partnership, Tax - Trust & Estate, Tax - Franchise for the benefit of our clients. Handle audit and working papers as part of the accounting process. Requirements Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with financial software including NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is necessary. Ability to prepare and record journal entries. Previous experience in conducting audits and preparing working papers. Knowledge of Federal Income Tax is essential. Experience in handling different types of taxes such as Corporate Tax, Individual Tax, Partnership Tax, Trust & Estate Tax, and Franchise Tax. Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and practice ethical conduct. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in financial reporting and financial statement analysis. Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting. Must be legally eligible to work in the specified job location.
