Description Prominent trial firm is searching for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our professional services team located in Woodland Hills, California. In this role, you will be responsible for various paralegal duties, including discovery, depositions, and trial work. You will work in our office five days a week, providing support to our strong litigation practice. Responsibilities: Thoroughly review files upon receipt Propose Discovery within a stipulated timeframe of receiving Defendant’s Answer Notice Defendant’s deposition when serving discovery Regularly review the Court calendar for all hearings Ensure up-to-date maintenance of medical records, bills, and statutory liens Manage team’s calendar effectively Prepare all Motions, Oppositions, and Replies Conduct legal issue research Respond to Discovery Prepare trial documents and binders, and confirm witness testimony for trial Use Case Management Software for efficient handling of tasks Utilize CompuLaw for billing functions Maintain regular communication with clients and other parties involved in the case Administer Personal Injury Plaintiffs' cases Carry out court filings and calendar management tasks in a timely mannerSkills: Proficiency in Aderant and Adobe Acrobat Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) Experience with briefing and claim administration Excellent communication skills Proficiency in calendaring and litigation paralegal tasksTo apply submit resumes only to Vice President, Quidana Dove at Quidana.Dove RobertHalf. < com > #SoCalRHL Requirements Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Paralegal role. Proficiency in Case Management Software is necessary. Knowledge of CompuLaw is required. Experience in Billing Functions is essential. Capable of Briefing and Calendar Management. Should be skilled in Claim Administration. Excellent Communication skills are required. Experience as a Litigation ParaLegal is necessary. Knowledge of Personal Injury Plaintiffs is a plus. Proficiency in Calendaring and Court Filings is crucial. Must hold a degree in law or a related field. Must be able to multitask and prioritize work effectively. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are necessary. Should be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills.
