The Lift Operations Manager is an essential member of the mountain operations team who manages all aspects of lift operations for a single mountain. This position reports to the Mountain Manager.Applications for this position will be accepted until July 21, 2026.The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.Essential Job FunctionsDevelop and oversee all phases of lift operations including opening, operating and closing procedures Oversee hiring and manage training for all newly hired and returning staff Responsible for the department’s compliance with all Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board regulations as well as OSHA and other regulatory agency regulations Create and maintain department manuals as well as log books and other related documents Oversee training and ensure completion of all training documentation required by Aspen Skiing Company and Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board Regulations Manage department budget including maintaining an accurate payroll Oversee disciplinary procedures and performance appraisals Thoroughly and accurately complete administrative tasks as required/requested Exhibit support for Guest Service initiatives Flexible with schedule to accommodate daily operation requirements as well as special events Responsible for compliance with safety practices to minimize workers comp exposure Other duties as assigned
