The Department has a strong commitment to high quality undergraduate education.We seek instructors who have proven records of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level, who will also s help the department achieve its educational mission more broadly. This position includes teaching 4 courses each semester (or equivalent load) and departmental service that includes active engagement in pedagogical initiatives within the department and across campus.The successful candidate will be prepared to teach several psychology courses that align with department priorities. Department priorities include the instruction of lower division introductory courses (e.g., General Psychology or Statistics, courses aimed at introduction to disciplines in psychology such as Social Psychology, or Clinical Psychology), and upper division psychology courses (e.g., advanced special topics courses).We also encourage applications from candidates, including those with a multidisciplinary background, who have an interest in developing and teaching a lab and methods course. Applicants should have a PhD in Psychology or a related discipline.
