As an Assistant General Manager at Verde, you will utilize your knowledge of positional skills, floor management, customer service & courtesy, as well as health & safety regulations to provide new insight into day to day operations.
This is a dual restaurant position.
Responsibilities include:
Reports directly to the General Manager and confers in all decisions of importance.
Maintains a safe, healthy, and secure facility by enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with health and legal regulations, and maintaining security systems.
Runs the FOH and assist with BOH operations when MOD.
Actively engages with guests to solicit feedback and build relationships in the community.
Handles catering assignments that include working and staffing events, parties, and corporate lunches.
Assists in human resource functions for restaurant staff including selection, training, enforcement of policies and procedures, performance management, development, and team building.
Required Experience:
3+ years restaurant experience
At least 2 years in a supervisory position
Required skills & knowledge:
Strong operational skills in a fast-paced customer service environment
Effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with Team Members and guests
Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop Team Members
Strong mathematical skills that include a strict attention to detail. Bonus points for accounting knowledge.
