Join our team at Parrish Ranch Campground, located in Berthoud, CO, just a 20-minute drive from Longmont and conveniently close to Carter Lake. Situated at the base of Rabbit Mountain in the foothills, our campground offers a serene setting with the tranquil Little Thompson River flowing through the property.
As part of our team, you'll be working in a picturesque natural environment with approximately 20 RV hookups and 6 wooden tepee cabins. Our season runs from May 15th to October 7th, with optional winter stays. The manager lives on-site from May 25th to around August 10th.
Please note that while cell reception is limited, we provide high-speed Starlink wifi for connectivity. Additionally, as part of our commitment to nature, we share our space with local wildlife. Applicants are required to provide details regarding the number and types of animals they will be bringing with them, including breeds.
We are seeking a dedicated individual or couple. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and overall positive experience for our campground guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Cleaning Duties:
- Clean campground bathrooms three times per week and keep stocked with necessary supplies.
- Prepare tepees for new guests by cleaning and the space, laundering linens, remaking beds, restocking snacks, and performing a thorough sweep/vacuum of the interior.
- Clean and maintain the event center once a week, including kitchen areas, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, organizing supplies, mopping floors when necessary, emptying trash, cleaning windows, and tidying outdoor spaces.
Grounds Maintenance:
- Assist with grounds maintenance tasks, including watering designated areas using sprinklers and performing weed whacking as needed to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
Additional Responsibilities:
In the absence of on-site management, your role includes warmly welcoming arriving guests and guiding them to their designated space or tepee. It's important to ensure guests feel attended to and informed, directing them to essential facilities such as the bathrooms and event center, guaranteeing a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Compensation:
The compensation for this position includes a RV site with a 30 amp electric hookup and water with close access to bathroom and showers. Plus monetary compensation of $300/month (negotiable) let's leave Uncle Sam out of this ;).
