Job title: Food Production Worker
Join an energetic, creative team of health-conscious individuals dedicated to providing organic, healthy, and flavorful nourishment for our customers that is sustainably produced, kind to our bodies, and our planet! As a Food Production Worker, you will produce company tempeh and miso products and ensure the production facility remains in proper working order. You will also help to package the finished product.
Food Production Worker have one of the most important roles in our company; they create the product that fuel Project Umami, our vision, our product, and how we strive to improve society’s relationship to our planet through seasonal eating and fueling our bodies with organic, high-quality ingredients. That is why it is essential for us to fill this role with individuals who share our passion for health, value sustainably sourced ingredients. It's hard work, but we find it rewarding, especially since we are creating a health-food that product that is impactful in other people’s lives.
Food Production Worker will work at the company facility located at 2430 30th Street Boulder, CO.

- Can stand for long period of time while assisting team members quickly and accurately & can lift 50 lbs
- Problem solver who tackles obstacles head-on to ensure each task is completed with excellence

Key Job Functions Include:
- Follow, create & implement standard operating procedures
- Produce, Ferment and Packaging Tempeh & Miso Products
- Maintaining an organized and presentable workspace throughout the production
- Maintaining food safety management protocols throughout the production space
- Ensuring the workspace and facility remain clean and presentable at all times
- Cleaning production equipment & facility after use and according to the cleaning schedule
