We are a friendly team of dedicated people trying to make someone's home or office a great place to be. We are a small, locally owned company that specializes in clean, comfortable, remodeled apartments and commercial office space for tenants who want extra-nice digs without the extra cost.
The Maintenance Technician maintains the physical condition of the property according to operating and safety standards, performs repair work, timely service request completion, diagnoses and repairs appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sheet rock, carpentry, roof and gutter repairs, painting, and any other repair work needed. Must have an eye for detail.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Performs hands-on repairs/maintenance work.
-Ensures service requests and repairs are made CORRECTLY AND TIMELY.
-Handles maintenance calls after hours - serves on-call in our monthly rotation or as necessary.
-Ensures that vacant units are made rent-ready in a timely manner.
-Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor executes the preventive maintenance program that minimizes emergency repairs and service repairs; inspects grounds, buildings, and other property features to minimize concerns.
-Maintains POSITIVE AND RESPECTFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE and contributes to the positive feedback toward the property.
-Is RELIABLE. COMES TO WORK ON TIME AND ON SCHEDULE.
-Has own tools, phone, and vehicle.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience A high school diploma or equivalent and two years related work experience is required.
Physical and Environmental The position requires the ability to physically inspect the properties, and lift heavy items, plus the Maintenance Technician must possess any abilities and skills required to carry out the responsibilities outlined above, even if not specifically mentioned herein.
Full-time, with on-call and overtime! Will work with someone who wants to be a 1099.
