Hiring: Carpenter Foreman for Bridgework ProjectJob Description:Leadership and Supervision:

Lead and manage a team of carpenters and laborers on-site.

Assign tasks and ensure efficient workflow among team members.

Provide training and guidance to crew members as needed.

Concrete Work Management:

Oversee all aspects of concrete work, including preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing.

Ensure that all concrete work meets quality standards and project specifications.

Monitor the progress of concrete work and make adjustments as necessary.

Problem Solving:

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may impact project quality and timelines.

Address any on-site challenges promptly to minimize delays.

Blueprint and Plan Consultation:

Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to ensure precise placement and installation of concrete structures.

Communicate with project engineers and architects to clarify any uncertainties.

Safety and Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all team members adhere to safety regulations.

Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards.

Communication:

Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Provide regular updates on project progress and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a concrete carpenter on civil projects.

At least 1 year of experience in a foreman role.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Specific experience with bridge construction.

Proven ability to supervise and manage a crew.

Reliable transportation is a must.

Valid driver’s license required.

Job Type:

Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months.

Work Site:

This is a fully on-site role located in Las Animas, CO.
