Palletizes product to specifications for shipment. This includes but is not limited to material handling, lifting weights up to 35 pounds occasionally. Operates wrapping machine. Weights must be lifted utilizing proper lifting techniques from 4 inches to 56 inches off the floor. Above the shoulder lifting may be required.

Interfaces with shipping computer software which requires analytical skills with a functioning level of math.

Demonstrates product knowledge of the different product lines and the terminology associated with each.

Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills.

Interacts amongst various departments and at all levels of the organization.

Works in a multitask environment with constant realignment of priorities.

Works a varying schedule depending on department requirements.

Must be available to work overtime evenings and Saturdays.

Must be able to obtain a forklift license.

What You Need to Succeed:

Generate production measures and reports.

Participate in team activities including group interaction and team problem solving.

Interact effectively with stores and assembly functions.

Interact with various shipping vendors with a professional demeanor.

Assembly experience required.

Product knowledge of one or more product lines.

In depth knowledge of air freight, common carriers and UPS. Must be able to operate machines associated with each process and must know processes associated with each carrier.

In depth knowledge of bill of ladings.

In depth knowledge of legal aspect of truck loads.

In depth knowledge of interorganizational and interplant transfers and receipts including Primus, Canada, Mexico and the DSC.

2 years previous shipping/receiving experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

The expected Base Hourly Range: $18.10 - $28.29. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
