This role involves supporting the operational capabilities that enable high-level decision-makers to plan, monitor, and manage ballistic missile defense operations. The candidate will work on a system that provides layered missile defense, facilitating responses to various threats throughout all phases of flight. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Visio

Ability to conduct in-depth technical research

Proficient technical understanding of:

Virtualization

Network transport

Network management tools

Operating systems

CICD Pipeline tools

Experience writing and editing technical documentation (High Level Designs, Detailed Designs, SOPs, installation instructions)

Job Duties Serve as a Network Technical Writer for the C2BMC Networks team.

Prepare documentation to communicate technical details of network operations to internal and external customers.

Work within an agile team; plan work based on customer requirements and program agreements.

Ensure technical documentation is created and updated according to current industry and DoD standards.

Communicate project status, dependencies, risks, and issues to the team lead.

Create and maintain detailed program documentation, including visual representations of network architecture and design.

Collaborate with Network Engineers, Leadership, and stakeholders to gather feedback on draft documents.

Source detailed network design information from existing documentation, device configurations, and development projects.

Update information repositories, such as Confluence, Jira, and SharePoint.

Track and meet deadlines for documentation deliverables.

Perform any other required tasks as designated by the program.

Job Requirements -This job requires bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 5+ years of professional experience, or 3+ years of experience with a related master's degree. A Secret Clearance is also required.Desired Skills & Experience Collaboration and teamwork

Ability to work independently on large projects

Familiarity with Markdown for documentation

Skills in diagram creation using Visio
