AECOM is seeking a talented Senior Technical Architect for immediate employment in our Colorado Springs, CO office. This a Part- Time Variable role, scheduled hours may vary. The successful candidate will be proactive with strong verbal, organizational, problem-solving, and technical skills to effectively manage architectural design teams as well as effective collaboration with engineering design professionals while interfacing with clients.Our Federal Design Group is an established leader in the market with over three decades of success. This diverse team assists our clients from strategy through project realization, creating positive outcomes for those who occupy and use the buildings and environments we help to create.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into innovative and functional designs.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including architects, designers, and engineers.Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction adheres to design specifications and building codes.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into the design process.Mentor and train junior architects, fostering their professional growth and development.Collaborate with AECOM regional leadership to help develop and garner greater design focus, methodologies, process, and technical excellence
