DescriptionSAIC seeks a highly experienced Supply Chain Analyst to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars. In support of the government customer, the Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for responsive and coherent planning, development and delivery of radar hardware and software modifications in response to change requests, emerging requirements, and deficiency reports. This position is located on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Job Duties
Control the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through program delivery to meet customer requirements
Program liaison for corporate procurement, supply chain, and vendors/suppliers
Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements
Works with buyers to analyze suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules
Reviews bills of material, proposals, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, prepares paperwork and uses company issued P-Card for transactions under guidelines, provides goods receipts and maintains necessary records
Review supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years’ related experience
Active Secret Clearance
Proficiency in Costpoint, Cornerstone, and Procurement processes
Experience leading waterfall-to-agile transformations, designed to deliver Minimum Viable Products in a consistent cadence
Must have understanding of FAR, DFARS, and purchase card procedures
Desired
Understanding of continuous improvement for standard supply chain processes
Knowledge of sourcing requirements for hardware and software, fabricated parts, machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies and incidental services necessary for operation of an organization or program
Ability to compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives, to include supplier performance, price trends, and manufacturing processes
Experience developing request for proposals (RFP), bid packages, purchase requests (PR)
Experience reviewing bid packages, evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, selects or recommends subcontractors, prepares awards and helps to administer resulting subcontracts
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000.
