Compensation (Pay): $16.00 to $23.20 /hourly, based on experience.

Job Summary: Responsible for the inspection and repair of facilities related equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance and minor repairs of building systems.
Minor plumbing to include sink, toilet and other plumbing repairs.
Experience in painting, patching drywall, installing/finishing drywall and cove base.
Install/Move/Assemble office furniture to include desks, chairs, file cabinets, bookshelves, and other office equipment.
Ability to climb ladders, identify roof leaks, change light bulbs, replace ceiling tiles and other related ladder work.
Assists as needed with grounds maintenance, snow removal, custodial functions, record keeping and work order tracking.
Provides a wide range support function to all departments throughout the Peak Vista, such as special events coordination and set-ups.
Provides after-hours coverage via the “on-call program.” This is an on-call status, one week at a time, 23/7, with a rotating schedule, requiring the technician to respond to alarms or after hour requests at all the PVCHC sites.
Ability to frequently travel inside and outside of the Colorado Springs area

Education/Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent education.
Work Experience: Minimum one-year experience in industrial facilities maintenance preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic – ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; enter and correct data, modify a workbook, format a worksheet, and use printing functions; create a simple presentation in PowerPoint, run it, and print it.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid Colorado driver’s license, a clean driving record, and insurable by Peak Vista insurance carrier.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age or older to be an eligible driver on behalf of Peak Vista.
The Facilities position requires that all technicians own and maintain a dependable and reliable vehicle as a condition of employment. This is required in order to fulfill the on-call requirements. Additionally, technicians are periodically required to use their personal vehicles as part of their normal duties.
